Skooza golf setup: re-imagined

Ideas can come from almost anywhere. This particular one came as I was developing an evolution of the current scooter design. In developing the future accessory line for future scooter the idea of merging some of those ideas into the current design was integrated. After a few concept revisions and a 3D printer, the prototype was ready to roll in less than a month. Just in time to make the shoot for the next issue of Kingdom Golf magazine. Production, in one more month after that.

trípode: Just an idea from the space age

As a designer you can’t help but some ideas or shapes stuck in your head. This one in particular has been in my head for some time after seeing a space age architectural design that sparked this idea. Currently I am working on a whole family of furniture but this concept will be the first of many to come with multiple uses. Making the best of this chaotic 2020.

Making it your own: Custom vinyl for some custom scooters

The same customer who couldn’t live without his tunes on his scooters couldn’t resist going a bit further to make his scooters his own. We settled on matching color vinyl decals for his 3 personal scooters along with designs reflecting his personal initials/logo as well as some for his television character. Needless to say he was very happy with how they turned out.

Icosa Tables: A pivot on an old idea

A simple adaption of the Icosa lamp yields a great pivot on the idea. The simple addition of a tempered glass table top or any other table top material gets a cool result. Cast aluminum joint pieces and with aluminum tubing struts, powder coated to any desired finish.

🎶 When you just gotta have your music

With the scooter venture slowly growing so has the need for accessories for the consumer market. A new segment I’ve never worked in before so it was time to jump in with both feet without looking. The combination of in-house design, 3D printing and testing allows for a smoother and near perfect fit when bringing these ideas to a reality.

This particular speaker bracket assembly was developed for a star of TV’s S.W.A.T. who bought 10 scooters for himself and his friends and wanted to make sure that everyone also had tunes on the go. After a few initial designs and prototypes, a final design was decided upon, custom made and that I personally installed. A big thank you to Kimash Metal for another great assist on the fabrication end of the dream.
